La Rana: The Frog

Description:

La Rana is a game which is all about accurate throwing. You can play it with ten coins or any other round metal shape. The game is about throwing the coins into the various holes of the "frog table". Some of the holes have obstacles that hinder an accurate throw. Each game consists of ten throws. If you hit the "frog hole", you get 50 points, it you hit the “Frog Mouth” 25 and for the "bridge" 10 points. For all other hole connected you get 5 points.

Origin of the game:

This game is very old. Even the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans played a few variations of the game; it used to be called "Barrel Game ". It also used to be played in bars, while people had Spanish drinks. When your glass was empty you had to throw coins in it, when you couldn’t succeed; you would have to pay for the Spanish drinks or Spanish wines.
