LETRA HISPÁNICA
is a medium-sized language school unique in its personal approach to students. We put a lot of emphasis not only on the acquisition and improvement of language skills, but also on the knowledge of Spanish and Hispanic culture; be it pop culture, classical music, literature, film or history. We organize many after-class activities whereby students are given the opportunity to get to know and to participate in the Spanish way of life.
Our courses are accredited by many U.S universities (students obtain credits at their university after fulfilling a course at Letra Hispánica) and we are also an accredited centre of the prestigious Instituto Cervantes which enables us to give D.E.L.E exam preparation courses. The D.E.L.E's are a state approved official range of exams certifying a level (A1-C2) of knowledge of the Spanish language.
Our courses are taught by experts in the fields of arts, literature and philosophy. We are located in the historical center of Salamanca.
There is a great variety of courses on offer. Beside the general Spanish and the D.E.L.E preparations, there is a 'Con todas las letras' course on the Hispanic culture and literature, there are courses Business Spanish, Medical Spanish and Spanish for High School students, and courses on Spanish Cuisine, Spanish Humour, Writing in Spanish and many more. Many of our students stay long term and very often opt for other language courses (a variety of languages) to accompany their Spanish course.
We arrange accommodation in carefully selected families, student residences or shared flats.
